Roger Lampkin – Lead Attorney

Roger Lampkin earned his bachelor degree from University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor degree is from South Texas College of Law where he was editor of the Law Review, and where he was an adjunct professor after graduation. Mr. Lampkin became an attorney in Texas in 1973 and in California in 1984. He has published various award-winning articles.

After coming to California, he was an adjunct professor in a California law school and taught a legally orientated course at California State University. From 1973 to 1987, Mr. Lampkin was in the legal department of major oil companies supervising outside counsel in substantial litigation.

Mr. Lampkin entered private practice in 1987 and has offices in Bakersfield and Taft. He is licensed to practice in Texas, California, and Federal Courts. His successful representation of thousands of clients has included extensive trial experience; where he learned the importance of pretrial motions and became highly skilled at preparing and arguing all necessary and essential motions.

He is an author of three law books, is making the final touches on two additional books, and is a contributor to several additional books.

 


Roger Grass – Certified Family Law Expert
Associate Attorney

Roger Grass is a graduate of Harvard University as well as Harvard University School of Law.  Mr. Grass is a Certified Family Law Specialist.

California attorneys who are certified as specialists have taken and passed a written examination in their specialty field, demonstrated a high level of experience in the specialty field, fulfilled ongoing education requirements and been favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with their work.

Only these attorneys can advertise or identify themselves as “certified” specialists in California because they are the only attorneys who are certified either by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization or an organization whose certification program has been accredited by the State Bar.


Karen – Licensed Document Assistant

Karen is a Senior Family Law Paralegal.  Karen is an expert in family law document preparation, including complex documents such as Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDRO).


Leticia – Spanish Language Interpreter and Legal Assistant

Leti is a Senior Spanish Language Interpreter and a family law legal assistant.


Victor VeVea – Licensed Document Assistant

Victor is an Associate Paralegal.  Victor received his bachelor degree in Math and Computer Science from Cal State Bakersfield. He went on to get his Bachelor of Law degree and Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern California University School of Law before passing the California Bar on the first attempt. United States District Court Judge Lawrence J. O’Neill described Mr. VeVea as “extraordinarily bright person, and…an intellectual vigilante.”  Victor assists with the technical aspects of some family law cases, such as the review of complex computer records, Facebook records, and other electronic data.
